Meet Dr. Joseph Brown A Board-Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
Since opening our practice in 2020, Dr. Joseph Brown has established a reputation as one of Tampa’s leading cosmetic surgeons.
After graduating in the top 10 percent of his class from Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Brown completed a six-year plastic surgery residency at The Ohio State University, where he trained under global leaders in the field.
Dr. Brown also developed special skills in reconstructive surgery during his residency. He is known for his ability to restore a natural appearance to the face, breasts, or body after cancer or complex trauma.
Our surgeon went on to earn board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a high honor for any cosmetic specialist. Dr. Brown tested in the 96th percentile of all surgeons who sought certification that year. He is eminently qualified to provide safe, effective surgeries that create results patients love.
Meet Stephanie Cooke MSN, ARNP-BC Board Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Master Aesthetic Injector
Born and raised in Florida, Stephanie Cooke is a Board Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Master Aesthetic Injector who joins us with 8 years experience. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Florida and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at University of South Florida.
Stephanie’s background in orthopedic and vascular surgery has given her immense technical capabilities with her hands and a profound respect for safety. Her background in psychiatry allows her to fully get to know her patients, which helps to pinpoint their results to achieving their goals. Her exposure to different aspects of healthcare have prepared her to hone into her passion for aesthetics, leading her to transition her career to Advanced Aesthetics and Injectables.
At SynergyMD, Stephanie specializes in natural beauty. She believes in doing treatments at our Tampa plastic surgery office for the “long run.” One of her mentors once told her that it is the little things that add up for the big outcome. Stephanie applies this progressive model to her treatment plans. Staying consistent with neurotoxins, laser treatments, fillers/biostimulators, and skin care will always result in the most natural outcome.
During her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is a workout enthusiast; you can always catch her in the gym or outside walking with her family.
